Summary/Objective:
The Director of Facilities directs the design, planning, construction and maintenance of
Trimark’s facilities and properties. Responsible for long-range facility plans based on company
growth, standard, requirements, and future needs. Oversees the functioning of all building
systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management.
Works closely with ownership, outside e architects, engineers, construction companies,
subcontractors, and other stakeholders in the maintenance, design, renovation, and
construction of projects. Additionally, the Director of Facilities will be responsible for providing
proactive management and issue resolution for all facilities-related functions. Trimark offers a

Essential Functions:
Oversee all facilities sustainment operations utilizing 5 direct reports and 20 indirect reports.
Monitor a central centralized maintenance management system for multiple assets.
Oversee and guide complex responsive maintenance work to ensure the performance of inhouse or contracted work meets or exceeds industry standards.
Prioritize work to meet stakeholder service needs and expectations.
Development of maintenance strategies intended to support organizational goals.
Ensure correct documentation of service work of a sensitive nature.
Provide exemplary customer service to external and internal stakeholders.
Respond to and resolve, personally or through collaboration, to customer service concerns.
Systematic asset inspections to identify issues in need of immediate or future action to ensure
assets are in compliance with local, state and federal guidelines.
Monitor service contracts to ensure terms of contracts are being fulfilled.
Negotiate pricing and scheduling with contractors to ensure efficient delivery of services in
support of maintenance strategies.
Act as project manager for small commercial and residential alterations and improvements.
Ensure supply chain needs are met during unique operational cycles.
Coordinate with partner departments to ensure maintenance strategies align with the goals of
supported teams.
Ensure appropriate preparation for annual multi-family turnover.
Guide employee development using consistent feedback and training opportunities.
Oversee and drive annual employee reviews utilizing employee development tools.
24/7 availability to guide emergency response.
All other tasks as assigned by management.


Required Skills/Qualifications:
5+ years in the construction industry, either working with or as a project manager for a
commercial construction contractor.
5+ years of progressive management experience.
3+ years of maintenance experience; multi-family, commercial, and restaurant experience a plus.
Experience utilizing the application of concepts, principles, and methods related to Facilities
operations, maintenance, restoration, and modernization
Experience analyzing information for making decisions about required maintenance and
repairs, renovations, and modernization.
Experience developing Key Performance Indicators to measure the success of strategies and
performance.
Experience developing life cycle costs to ensure accurate decision-making concerning asset
maintenance.
Strong skills in forecasting upcoming needs, executing a comprehensive preventative
maintenance program, and scheduling.
Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize and complete
projects involving facilities.
Ability to build and schedule deadlines for 3-5 direct reports.
Professional, upscale appearance.
High level of demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy skills to communicate in all interactions.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to effectively present
plans to management and staff.
Motivated self-starter, with excellent organization/prioritization skills to juggle multiple
projects and the ability to meet assigned deadlines.
Ability to work well with others, internal and external to the organization.
Ability to self-manage with proven skills to consistently meet goals.
Well-established relationships with Gainesville area subcontractors, suppliers, and building
officials are preferred, but not mandatory.

A current Florida driver’s license, insurance and reliable personal transportation is required.
Frequent travel around the Gainesville market area is required.


Working Environment:
Must possess: strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium to heavy physical work, to
work around machines, to climb and descend ladders, to operate a variety of tools and
equipment, and to operate a motor vehicle; vision to read printed materials and a computer
screen and to distinguish colors in wiring; hearing and speech to communicate in person and
over the telephone or radio.
Frequent walking in operational areas to identify problems or hazards.
intermediate computer skills are required to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer
keyboard, calculator and to operate tools and equipment.
Microsoft Office skills required.
Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, and climb, to meet job requirements.
Must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50
pounds or heavier weights with assistance and/or the use of proper equipment.
